Live music will be preformed by Cajun/Zydeco artists Hunter Hayes, Lisa Haley & the Zydekats, Eddie Baytos & the Nervis Brothers, Zydeco Zippers, and Trureaux

Accompanying the music will be 5,000 pounds of crawfish flown in from Louisiana. Sponsored in part by Hermosa Beach restaurant Ragin Cajun Cafe, participants are promised "the best Cajun food in the West."

"After a single visit to the Ragin Cajun, you're likely to find yourself singing 'Jambalaya, crawfish pie and file gumbo,'" exclaims a restaurant review. "We promise the same for this event!" pipes in owner Stephen Domingue.

For children there will be an area designed just for them with games, face painting and other activities. A crafts show will display creations made by children at the festival.

Besides great entertainment and local vendors, the Bayou Bash will offer mixed drinks, beer and wine. Traditional Cajun favorites such as the Hurricane are sure to be crowd pleasers. Beer selections will be sponsored by Budweiser.

Other sponsors of the event include The Beach Reporter and KLON FM 88.1.

All profits raised from the event will benefit local children's charities.
